Football Friday – Broken Bow vs Holdrege on KCNI / South Loup vs Ansley/Litchfield on KBBN

It’s another big football Friday around the area today.  The Broken Bow Indians will look to bounce back following last week’s loss to Kearney Catholic.  Broken Bow is now 4-2 on the season and right in the thick of the state playoff picture for Class C1.  Broken Bow will be on the road tonight for a district matchup with Holdrege.  The Dusters are 2-4 this season and will be looking to snap a two game losing streak.  KCNI/KBBN Sports visited with Broken Bow head coach Carlie Wells about tonight’s matchup.  Coach Wells said that one of the areas of focus in practice this week has been mental preparation and being able to recognize and react to certain situations on the field.

 

Tonight’s game between Broken Bow and Holdrege will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com with coverage beginning with the Custer Federal State Bank Friday Night Lights pregame show at 6 p.m. followed by kickoff at 7.

Tonight’s area 8 man game of the week on KBBN will feature Ansley/Litchfield against South Loup in Callaway. The game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. Coverage begins with the Consolidated Companies Friday Night Lights pregame show at 6 p.m. followed by kickoff at 7.
