FKC All Conference Boys Basketball Teams

The Fort Kearny Conference has released its all conference boys basketball teams for the 2022/2023 season. It was a strong season for the conference. Four teams qualified for the boys state tournament this year. SEM’s Kellen Eggleston was a boys all conference first team selection. Eggleston helped lead the Mustangs to a district championship and a third place finish at this year’s NSAA boys state basketball championships. Eggleston led the team in scoring this season averaging 13.3 points per game and averaged in double figures for the three games at the state tournament. Amherst was the boys conference champion this season and finished as the state runner-up in Class C-2. The Broncos placed three players on the all conference first team. They included Tayje Hadwiger, Scout Simmons, and Nolan Eloe. Carter Erickson of Elm Creek was also a first team selection. Ansley/Litchfield placed two players on the all conference 2nd team. Leyton Rohde and Luke Bailey helped lead the Spartans to a district championship and a state tournament appearance this season. Rohde averaged 13.3 points per game and Bailey averaged 15. SEM’s Noah Eggleston was also a 2nd team all conference selection. Noah averaged 7.4 points per game and led the team in steals. (Stats taken from maxpreps.com)
