The Twin Loup football team looks to build on last year’s season that saw them finish 6-4 overall and advance to the second round of the state playoffs. With Nebraska 8-man football being divided into three classes this year, Twin Loup will compete in Class D3.
Twin Loup will be in the D3-4 district with Burwell, Central Valley, CWC, Elgin Public-Pope John, and Palmer. Twin Loup begins its season on the road August 28th when they play at North Central followed by their home opener against Overton on September 3rd.
Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will feature Twin Loup in back to back weeks when they face Anselmo-Merna on September 11th and then play host to Mullen on September 18th. Games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
