Gage Haake takes over as head coach of the team that he once played for, Sandhills/Thedford. S/T will compete in 8-man football which is divided into three classes this season with the Knights competing in Class D3.
S/T will compete in the D3-6 district this season with Anselmo-Merna, Brady, Maxwell, Mullen, and Sandhills Valley. The Knights begin their season on August 28th when they travel to Hyannis followed by their home opener on September 4th against Ainsworth.
Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will feature Sandhills/Thedford on October 9th when they host Brady and again on October 22nd when they travel to Mullen for their regular season finale. Games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
