The D1-8 all district football team has been announced. Area teams from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area who competed in the district this season included Arcadia/Loup City, South Loup, and Sandhills Valley. The D1-8 champion was Ravenna. Ravenna and Arcadia/Loup City were district representatives in the Class D1 state football playoffs.
Arcadia/Loup City had four representatives on the all-district first team. Representing the Rebels were Tyce Calleroz, Joe Ducker, Wyatt Stieb, and Hudson Obermiller. Representing South Loup on the all-district first team were Conner Paulsen and Paxton Bierman. Sandhills Valley was represented by Cotter Johnston on this year’s all district first team.
Area athletes receiving all district second team honors were Ryan Kaslon, Kolton Friesen, and Chayden Sekutera of Arcadia/Loup City, Dylan Pandorf and Crew Witthuhn of South Loup, and Kempten Florea of Sandhills Valley.
