D-2 District Wrestling Results – Sandhills/Thedford Qualifies 1, SEM Qualifies 5, Twin Loup Qualifies 6 for State

Twin Loup, Sandhills/Thedford, and SEM were among the teams that competed at the D-2 district wrestling tournament in Pleasanton.  Twin Loup finished fourth in the team standings and qualified six individuals for the state tournament in Omaha.  The Wolves had two runner-up finishes with Nolan Osborn placing 2nd at 113 lbs. and Ethan Kipp was district runner-up at 120.  Other state qualifiers for Twin Loup included Archer Grint (152), Garrett Schneider (160), Slate Micheel (170), and Kade Bottorf (220).

Reece Zutavern will represent Sandhills/Thedford at the state wrestling championships next week.  The defending state champion remained undefeated on the season winning the district title at 195 lbs.

SEM qualified five individuals for the state tournament.  They include Clayton Scoville (106), Clark Padrnos (113), Reece Jones (138), Maddox Jones (152), Brendon Hall (285).
