Anselmo-Merna’s Carter Johnson signed his letter of intent Thursday to play football at the collegiate level for Concordia University in Seward, NE. Johnson helped lead the AM football team to a 9-2 overall record this past season and an appearance in the Class D1 state football quarterfinals. Johnson led the team in rushing with 1.309 yards and was a D1-8 all district first team selection at quarterback.
