The Class C-5 girls district golf tournament was played at Crandall Creek golf course in Ogallala on Monday. The district team champion was Valentine followed by Chadron in second. Gothenburg qualified for state as a team finishing third overall with a 462 team score. The Lady Swedes were led by Kaylee Olson who placed 4th with a round of 93. Mullen’s Austin Deibler qualified for state as an individual finishing in a tie for tenth with a round of 105. The low round of the tournament was turned in by Tierney Miller of Valentine with a round of 86.
The NSAA Class C girls golf state championship tournament will take place October 13 and 14 at North Platte’s Lake Maloney Golf Club
