Burwell Wrestling Invite Results

Burwell hosted its annual wrestling invitational on Friday. Burwell won the team title with 205.5 points and Ravenna was the team runner-up. Other area teams that finished in the top ten were SEM 5th, Ansley/Litchfield 7th and Twin Loup 8th. Burwell had four individual champions on their way to the team championship. Bode Jensen placed first at 106 lbs. Austin Mayfield was champion at 138 lbs. Cale Buss was the champion at 190 lbs. and Hagen Hodges placed first at 215 lbs. In other area highlights, Arcadia/Loup City had three wrestlers place in the top four of their weight class. They included Christopher Allen (3rd-106), Logan Spotanski (4th-132), Wyatt Stieb (4th-190). Ansley/Litchfield had three wrestlers place in the top 4. Dillon Haines (4th-144), Isaac O’Brien (4th-165), Andy Cash (runner-up-285). SEM had four wrestlers place in the top 4. Clayton Scoville (3rd-113), Treu Atkins (runner-up-120), Emanuel Guido Sanchez (3rd-165), Maddox Jones (Champion-175). Twin Loup had two wrestlers place in the top 4. Keaton Dowse (3rd-150), Garrett Keith (Champion-165).
