The Nebraska Coaches Association has released the names of those who have accepted invitations to play in their annual All Star Basketball games this summer. Accepting an invitation to play in the girls all star game is MaKinley Tobey of Broken Bow. Tobey averaged 18 points per game this past season helping the Lady Indians win a district championship and qualify for the girls state tournament for the third time in the last four years. Tobey was voted first team all Southwest conference and was honored last weekend by the Lincoln Journal Star as a Class C1 girls all state second team selection. Tobey has committed to join the Peru State women’s basketball program.
This year’s NCA girls all star basketball game is scheduled for July 24th at 6 p.m. followed by the NCA boys all star game at 8 p.m.
