Broken Bow Wrestling Team Wins Home Invite

The Broken Bow wrestling team claimed the team title at its home invite Saturday.  The Broken Bow varsity squad ran away with the team championship with 232 points.  Gordon Rushville was 2nd with 149 points.  The Broken Bow JV squad was 7th in the team standings with 54 points.  There were only two weight classes (106 and 285) where the Indians did not have a wrestler medal in the top four.  Broken Bow claimed seven individual championships.  Two weight classes featured an all Broken Bow final.  Jack Myers won the 170 lb. weight division winning over teammate Brice Chaplin in the title match and Connor Wells won the 182 lb. title winning over teammate Brycen Woodward in the championship match.  Other weight class champions for the Indians included Chauncey Watson at 113 lbs., Cash Watson at 120 lbs., Braxon Rynearson at 126 lbs.,  Colton Kelley at 132 lbs., and Cal Wells at 220 lbs. Other medal winners for Broken Bow included Tallen Harrold 4th at 138 lbs., William Monninger 4th at 145 lbs., Dakota Baum 4th at 152 lbs., Zack Gaffney 2nd at 160 lbs., and Max Denson was runner-up at 195 lbs.
