Broken Bow Wins Home Girls Golf Invite

The Broken Bow girls golf team won its home golf invite Tuesday at the Broken Bow Country Club.  Broken Bow won the team title with a 347 team score.  St. Paul was runner-up with a 425.  All five Broken Bow varsity golfers placed in the top 7.  Broken Bow’s Taylor Schaaf was the individual champion with a low round of 82.  Camryn Johnson was one shot behind in second with an 83 and Molly Custer was third with an 86.  Lainey Palmer tied for the 4th best round of the day and received the 4th place medal with a 96 and Skylar Benjamin tied for the sixth best round with a 97 and received the 7th place medal.  The Broken Bow JV squad shot a 442 for the day and had two golfers medal in the top 15.  Kennadi Ross tied for the 10th best round of the day and received the 11th place medal with a 106 and Brynn Custer tied for the 12th best round with a 107 and received the 13th place medal.  Broken Bow will next be in action at Awarii Dunes golf course on Thursday.
