Broken Bow hosted its annual girls golf invitational Tuesday at the Broken Bow Golf Club. Golfers battled winds that consistently gusted at 30+ miles per hour during the day. The Broken Bow varsity squad won the team championship with a low team score of 345. Broken Bow placed six golfers in the top ten and posted the four best scores of the day. Camryn Johnson was the individual champion with a low round of 77. Molly Custer was runner-up with an 81 followed by Taylor Schaaf in third with a 91 and Skylar Benjamin was fourth with a 96. Also medaling in the top 15 were Brynn Custer and Bailey Ridder who finished 9th and 10th as each shot a 106.
In other area results, it took a 111 to medal in the top 15. Mullen’s Corynn Corbin finished just outside the top 15 leading the Broncos with a score of 115. Adi Bartels of Gothenburg medaled in the top 15 finishing with a 109.
Broken Bow will next compete at Awarii Dunes golf course on Thursday.
