Broken Bow Unified Bowling Team Places 5th in B-5 District

The Broken Bow unified bowling team competed Tuesday at the B-5 district competition held at Pastime Lanes in Hastings.  Unified sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team.  The Baker format was used for the district tournament.  Broken Bow finished fifth out of nine teams with a total pinfall count of 602 through six games.  Their high game of the tournament came in game 6 where they finished with a 131.  York was the district champion with a total pinfall count of 871.  York advances to the state tournament which will take place on December 8th at Sun Valley Lanes and Games in Lincoln.
