Broken Bow Travels to McCook to Face the Bison on KCNI

The Broken Bow football team will travel to McCook to face the Bison tonight.  The Bison drop down to Class C1 this season and are off to a 2-0 start with wins over Cozad and Gothenburg.  Broken Bow overcame five turnovers last week as they collected its first win of the season with a thrilling 20-14 victory over Ogallala.  After finishing with no yards passing in their season opener, Broken Bow made some big plays in the passing game last Friday including a 93 yard touchdown pass from Eli Coble to Brice Chaplin for Bow’s first score of the game and a 33 yard touchdown pass from Coble to Max Denson with under a minute left in the game to secure the win.  Coach Carlie Wells told KCNI/KBBN that he was pleased with the improvement in the passing game from week one to week two.

Tonight’s game between Broken Bow and McCook will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.  Coverage begins with the Custer Federal State Bank pregame show at 6 p.m.
