Members of the Broken Bow swim team competed at the Kearney swim meet at Harmon Park Pool this past weekend. According to coach Shawn Morris, Broken Bow has 55 swimmers out for the team this year and twelve swimmers took part at the Kearney Invite. Among the highlights for Broken Bow, Shaun Crawford was first in the male 13-14 yr. old 100 meter backstroke, 2nd in the 50 meter free and 2nd in the 50 meter backstroke. Tylee Fenton placed first in the female 11-12 yr. old 100 meter breaststroke, 2nd in the 200 meter breaststroke, and 2nd in the 50 meter breaststroke. Blake Grooms won the male 11-12 yr. old 100 meter freestyle and Gage Carrizales was 2nd in the male 9-10 yr. old 100 meter freestyle.
