It was a busy weekend for the Broken Bow Spirit 18U softball team. The Spirit finished 3-2 during their weekend run.

Broken Bow scored 10 runs in the second inning to put the game away. Lily Thornton and Laney Holcomb combined in the circle to pitch a shutout. Cassidy Schweitzer was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Caeden Arnold finished 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI
Broken Bow Spirit 13, Brush Beetdigger Summer 18U 2
Broken Bow totaled 13 hits in the game. Ruby Russell, Cassidy Schweitzer, Lila Griffiths, and Lily Thornton all had a double for the Spirit. Lily Thornton was in the circle and pitched a complete game for the win
McCook Rebels 18U 6, Broken Bow Spirit 0
The Spirit offense was held to just one hit in the game which belonged to Laney Holcomb

Lily Thornton and Ida Bumgarner each finished 3 for 3 in the game. Thornton finished with 3 RBI and Bumgarner also drove in a run. Lily Thornton was in the circle and pitched a complete game for the win surrendering 3 runs on 5 hits and striking out 4
McCook Rebels 18U 14, Broken Bow Spirit 2
McCook got hot offensively scoring 14 runs on 17 hits. The Spirit finished with six hits with Lily Thornton and Brielle Hamel-Evans each collecting a double.
The Bow Spirit are now 21-24-1 on the season.
