The Broken Bow Spirit 18U girls softball team swept a doubleheader from “Mad Dog Softball” on Thursday. Bow had a strong offensive showing winning game one 10-0 and game two by the score of 12-4. In game one, Mya Weverka pitched a complete game shutout in the circle giving up just 4 hits in 4 innings and striking out 3. Dalila Griffiths was 2 for 3 including a home run. Kassidy Cyboron was 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored.
In game two, Broken Bow scored 12 runs on 6 hits en route to a 12-4 win in three innings. Joscelyn Coleman was 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 4 RBI highlighted by an inside the park home run.
