The Broken Bow American Legion seniors baseball team will close out the regular season tonight when they host Ord at Paul Brown Field. Coming off a 3-2 win over Ogallala on Saturday, Broken Bow enters tonight’s game with an overall record of 15-13. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
Broken Bow will begin play in the Class B Area 5 tournament on Friday. Broken Bow will enter the tournament as the #5 seed and will face #4 seed and the host team of the tournament, O’Neill, in round one on Friday. The winner will advance out to face #1 seed Central City on Saturday. Other opening round games on Friday include #3 seed West Point vs Albion and #2 seed Wayne vs Pierce. All Broken Bow games during the seven-team double elimination tournament will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com beginning with Broken Bow’s first round matchup against O’Neill scheduled for 7 p.m.
