The Broken Bow American Legion seniors baseball team collected its 11th win of the season Thursday night as they hosted Lexington at Paul Brown Field.
Lexington scored two runs in their first at bat to take an early 2-0 lead but Broken Bow was able to respond with 4 runs in the bottom of the first. Broken Bow led 9-6 entering the bottom of the fifth inning. Bow batted through the order in the fifth scoring five runs clinching the victory 14-6 by the 8 run rule after five. Broken Bow had 13 hits in the game led by Max Denson who finished 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. Dominic Nowak also had a three hit night finishing 3 for 4 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI.
The Bow seniors are now 11-3 on the season. Broken Bow will host Imperial Saturday for a seniors doubleheader and then host Ogallala for a juniors and seniors doubleheader on Sunday.
