Seven Broken Bow football players have been recognized with all district honors. Broken Bow competed in the C1-6 district this season which also included Gothenburg, Cozad, Minden, and Holdrege. Broken Bow finished 3-6 overall this season and 2-2 in district play. Gothenburg was the district champion. Broken Bow had three players named to the all district first team offense. They included Drew Ellis (OL), Ayden Clark (RB), and Aidan Markham (RB). Markham was the teams leading rusher with nearly 800 rushing yards for the season and six rushing touchdowns. Ayden Clark averaged 92 yards rushing per game before missing the latter part of the season due to injury. Helping pave the way for the Broken Bow running attack was offensive lineman Drew Ellis.
Cobe Wells (LB), and Devon Baum (DL) represented Broken Bow on the all district first team defense. Wells was Broken Bow’s leading tackler this season with 114 total tackles. Baum was one of Broken Bow’s leaders on the defensive line.
Receiving honorable mention all district were Zach Jackson and Gunner Baltz.
