The Broken Bow boys golf team competed at the Southwest Conference Championship tournament played at Fredrick Peak Golf Club in Valentine on Thursday. Broken Bow placed third in the team standings. McCook won the team championship with a 300 team score followed by Holdrege in second with a 309 and Broken Bow was third with a 323. The individual champion was Trenton Raile of McCook with a low round of 71. Broken Bow placed two golfers in the top 15. Adrian Gibbons and Gavin Carrizales each led Broken Bow with a round of 79 to finish 12th and 13th overall. Other Broken Bow scores included Jack White an 81, Austin Fox an 84, Bowen Ridder a 90, and Zach Jackson a 95.
