The Broken Bow volleyball team will open its season tonight when they host Hershey at the Indian gym. The Lady Indians finished 2022 at 16-16 and will look to build on that as many key pieces to last year’s team return this season. Speaking at the Broken Bow Fall Sports Kickoff Tuesday, head coach Skylar Morris said she likes the chemistry that continues to develop with this year’s team.
“I do…I mean Halle McCaslin and Emma Taylor have played in the back row together now for three years I think so their chemistry back there together is definitely something and I think that was something they said after the first game was they felt like they knew where each other was going so it wasn’t a guessing game. I think, yes, where we were last year to right now, or even the beginning of the summer, the chemistry has definitely gotten better.
Tonight’s match between Broken Bow and Hershey will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com. The varsity match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
