The Broken Bow American Legion juniors and seniors baseball teams traveled to Ravenna on Sunday. The Bow juniors have yet to lose as they won their ninth in a row to start the season. Bow leaned on their offense Sunday as they outscored Ravenna 16-7 to win in five innings. The difference was the second inning when Broken Bow erupted for 13 runs. Eli Coble set the tone in the leadoff spot going 3 for 4 with three runs scored and 1 RBI. Hagan Campbell also finished 3 for 4 and Tallin Schauda was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. Max Denson led the team in RBI driving in 4 including a home run and Caden Holm drove in 3 runs. The Bow juniors improve to 9-0 on the season.
The Broken Bow American Legion Seniors ran their winning streak to six with a 10-3 win over Ravenna. Bow led 5-3 after six innings and then put the game away by scoring 5 runs in the 7th. Max Denson was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI. Caden Holm was 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI including a home run in the 7th. Sawyer Bumgarner also had a multi hit game going 2 for 4 with 2 RBI. The Bow seniors are now 7-5 on the season.
The Bow juniors and seniors will next host North Platte on Tuesday.
