Broken Bow hosts national signing day event

Seven student athletes at Broken Bow High School signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday morning to continue their athletic and academic careers at the college level.

Three students will be headed to Concordia University in Seward to be Bulldogs. Kya Scott will play volleyball at Concordia, Emery Custer signed to play golf, and Tyler Thomas will compete in football and track for the Bulldogs.

Kailyn Scott and Sawyer Bumgarner will attend college in Fremont at Midland University. Kailyn will play volleyball for the  Warriors and Sawyer Bumgarner will put on the pads for the football team.

Kennedy Garcia will head one state to the north of Nebraska after signing her NLI to compete for the Black Hills State University golf team.

Daine Wardyn will continue his running career in two sports at Iowa Western Community College. He will run both cross country and track for the Reivers.

Congratulations to all of these Broken Bow Indians who will compete as Bulldogs, Warriors, Yellow Jackets, and Reivers at the college athletic level!
