Broken Bow will host the C-4 district wrestling championships today at the Indian gym. Broken Bow will be joined by Amherst, Bridgeport, Chadron, Chase County, Gibbon, Gordon-Rushville, Gothenburg, Hershey, Hi-Line, Kearney Catholic, Minden, Mitchell, O’Neill, Ord, and Valentine. Matches are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
Area teams will conclude district wrestling competition in Class D today. Anselmo-Merna and South Loup are among the teams competing at the D-1 district at Weeping Water High School. Ansley/Litchfield, Burwell, and Twin Loup are at the D-2 district at Shelby-Rising City public schools. Arcadia/Loup City, Sandhills/Thedford, and SEM are at the D-3 district meet at Pleasanton while Mullen and Sandhills Valley are at the D-4 district meet in Bayard. The top four in each weight class qualify for the state tournament.
