Broken Bow Girls Golf Wins Gothenburg Invite

The Broken Bow girls golf team claimed the team championship at the Gothenburg Invite on Tuesday at Wildhorse Golf Course.  It was another tight battle between Broken Bow and Minden for the team title.  This time Broken Bow came out on top with a low team score of 337 while Minden finished in 2nd with a 345.  Broken Bow placed all five golfers in the top fifteen.  Camryn Johnson was the individual champion.  Johnson tied with KayLynn Jorgensen of Minden with a round of 1 over par 73 after regulation and won the individual crown in a playoff.  Skylar Benjamin shot an 86 to finish 4th overall.  Taylor Schaaf placed 7th with an 87, Molly Custer was 9th with a 91, and Brynn Custer was 14th with a 95.

Broken Bow will play at North Platte on Thursday .
