The Broken Bow girls golf team competed at the Awarii Challenge at Awarii Dunes Golf Course on Thursday. Broken Bow finished as the team runner-up with a team score of 342. Minden won the team title with a low team score of 334. Broken Bow’s Camryn Johnson was the individual champion with a low round of 72 which was one shot better than Julia Messere of GICC who was runner up with a 73. Skylar Benjamin medaled in the top ten placing sixth overall with a personal best 84 and Molly Custer also medaled finishing tenth with a round of 90. Rounding out the Broken Bow scoring, Taylor Schaaf finished with a 96 and Brynn Custer shot a 99.
Broken Bow will play at the Gothenburg Invite at Wildhorse Golf Course on Tuesday.
