The Broken Bow girls golf team competed at the GICC girls golf invite played at Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island on Thursday. Broken Bow placed fifth in the team standings with a 426 team score. Grand Island Northwest won the team title with a 383 and Columbus Scotus was second with a 410.
Broken Bow was led by Caylee Cook who finished just outside the top 15 placing 16th overall with a round of 104 for the 18 hole event. Tiana Hurlburt was two shots behind in 18th place with a round of 106. Hallie Meyer and Adelyn Kirkpatrick each finished with a round of 108 and Emersyn Palmer shot a 118 for the Lady Indians. The individual champion was Macy Jorgensen of Minden with a round of 1 under par 71.
Broken Bow returns to action on Tuesday (9/8) when they host their home invite at the Broken Bow Golf Club.
