Broken Bow Girls and Boys Take Runner-up at Dave Gee Track Invite

Broken Bow participated at the Dave Gee track invite hosted by Northwest high school in Grand Island on Thursday. Broken Bow finished runner-up behind Northwest in both the girls and boys team standings.

Among the highlights for Broken Bow, Noah Osmond was champion in the boys 3200 meters with a winning time of 10:29.01.  Placing 2nd was Daine Wardyn (10:49.58).  Gracie Hackel claimed double gold Thursday winning the girls 3200 meters in a winning time of 13:02.01 and winning the 1600 in a time of 5:57.91. Qwentin Coble won the boys 200 meters in a winning time of 22.24 seconds. Broken Bow won the girls 4×800 meter relay. The team of Makinley Tobey, Gracie Hackel, Brianna Quinn, and Gaby Staples posted a winning time of 10:15.48. Brianna Quinn was runner-up in the girls 400 with a time of 1:02.92. Broken Bow was runner-up in the girls 4×400 meter relay.
