The Broken Bow Cosmos swim team competed at the Kearney Summer Sizzler swim meet this past weekend. Among the highlights for the Cosmos, Tylee Fenton had two first place finishes. Fenton was first in the female 11-12 year old 200 meter breaststroke and 50 meter breaststroke events. Gage Carrizales placed first in the male 9-10 year old 50 meter breaststroke and Braxtton Johnson was first in the male 13-14 year old 200 meter breaststroke.
Callie White of Broken Bow also competed at the Kearney meet. White placed first in both the female 15 and over 50 meter and 100 meter breaststroke. White has also qualified for the Division I Midwestern Swimming Long Course Championships July 31-August 1 at Woods Pool in Lincoln. White qualified in the 50 and 100 meter breaststroke and will also swim in 2 relays.
