Ogallala hosted its annual cross country invitational on Thursday.
Gothenburg was the boys team champion. Broken Bow finished 7th overall in the boys standings. The boys individual champion was Mason McGreer of Perkins County in a winning time of 15:59.61. Tyler Hetz of Gothenburg was runner up (16:02.85). Jackson Hansen was the top Broken Bow finisher placing 22nd overall (18:12.17). Placing in the top 40 for Broken Bow were Brian Fox 32nd, Brock Oeltjen 33rd, Asher Jensen 39th, and Tallen Harrold 40th.
Gering was the girls team champion. Broken Bow finished 4th overall in the girls standings. The girls individual champion was Lindee Henning of Ogallala in a winning time of 19:41.25. Ashlyn Schauda of Broken Bow finished in the top ten placing 9th in a time of 22:14.71. Placing in the top 30 for Broken Bow were Jaycee Staples 18th, Genesis Guevara 21st, Gaby Staples 24th and Annette Guevara was 26th.
