McCook hosted its annual cross country invitational on Thursday. North Platte was the boys team champion followed by Lexington in second and Minden was third. Broken Bow finished 8th in the boys team standings. The boys individual champion was Erick Grikjalva of Lexington in a winning time of 17:20.12. The top Broken Bow finishers were Cooper Loughran 34th (21:28.54) and Garrett Johnk 35th (21:38.71) and Richi Diaz Vargas was 37th (21:51.06). For full boys results click here.
North Platte also claimed the girls team championship with Minden finishing second and Chase County was third. The girls individual champion was Rinlee Blomstedt of McCook in a winning time of 20:02.54. Ashlyn Schauda of Broken Bow placed 20th in a time of 23:07.23. For full girls results click here.
