Broken Bow was among the teams that competed at the Gothenburg cross country invite on Thursday at Wildhorse Golf Course. Broken Bow was third in the girls team standings behind team champion Gothenburg and runner up Minden. Ashlyn Schauda led the way for the Lady Indians finishing fourth in a time of 21:16. Broken Bow placed two others in the top 25 with Genesis Guevara placing 20th (23:23) and Gaby Staples was 25th (23:49). The girls individual champion was Scout Bell of Gothenburg with a winning time of 20:36.
Broken Bow finished fifth in the boys team standings. Gothenburg was the team champion followed by Minden in second. Logan Bell and Jackson Hansen each finished in the top 20 for the Indians. Bell was 16th (18:55) and Hansen was 19th (19:08). The boys individual champion was Tyler Hetz of Gothenburg in a winning time of 16:58.
