Broken Bow Claims 4th Straight SWC Girls Golf Team Championship

The Broken Bow girls golf team claimed its fourth straight Southwest Conference tournament team championship Tuesday at Awarii Dunes Golf Course.  Broken Bow won the team title with a low team score of 347.  Minden was runner up with a 354.  Camryn Johnson was the Southwest Conference individual champion for the second straight year with a low round of 76.  Molly Custer was runner-up with an 83.  Broken Bow placed five golfers in the top 15.  Taylor Schaaf and Skylar Benjamin each finished with a 94 and finished 11th and 12th respectively.  Brynn Custer shot a 101 to finish 14th.

All Southwest Conference recognition is based on a player’s finishing position at the SWC tournament.  Receiving first team honors were Camryn Johnson and Molly Custer.  Receiving 3rd team all conference recognition were Taylor Schaaf, Skylar Benjamin, and Brynn Custer.

Broken Bow will compete at the C-4 district meet at Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island on October 3rd.
