Broken Bow Boys Golf Team Competes at Ogallala Invite

The Broken Bow boys golf team competed at the Ogallala Invitational played at Crandall Creek Golf Course on Thursday.  McCook won the team championship with a low team score of 316.  Broken Bow finished 7th in the 15 team field with a 353 team score.  The low round of the tournament was turned in by Reid Loop of McCook with a 75.  Broken Bow was led by Adrian Gibbons who finished in the top ten with a round of 83 which was good for 8th overall.  Gavin Carrizales was just two shots outside the top ten with a round of 85.  Other Broken Bow varsity scores included Bowen Ridder a 91, Jack White a 94, and Austin Fox finished with a round of 99.  Gothenburg finished just ahead of Broken Bow in sixth place with a 349 team score.  The Swedes were led by Trey Bartels who finished with a round of 84.  Cozad finished tenth overall with a 360 team score.  The Haymakers were led by Ethan Atchison who finished tenth with a round of 83.

Broken Bow will return to Ogallala on Monday to compete in the C-5 district tournament.
