Broken Bow Boys Golf Team Competes at Lexington Invite

Broken Bow was among the teams that competed at the Lexington boys golf invitational on Tuesday.  Broken Bow placed 7th overall with a team score of 346.  McCook claimed the team title with a 327 followed by Ogallala in 2nd with a 332 and Lexington was third with a 334.  Cozad finished in the top five placing fourth with a 338.

Broken Bow was led by Garrett Johnk who shot a personal best 83 for the 18 hole event which was tied for the fifteenth best round of the day.  The low round of the tournament was turned in by Jaxon Neff of Lexington who won the tournament with a 76.  Other scores for the Broken Bow varsity included Adrian Gibbons – 86, Jack White – 87, Bowen Ridder – 90, Zach Jackson – 111.

In other area notes, Cozad was led by Ethan Atchison who placed second with a round of 78.  Gothenburg was led by Brady Cornwell who placed 7th with a round of 81.
