The Broken Bow boys golf team was among those who competed at the Awarii Dunes Classic on Thursday. Kearney Catholic and Holdrege tied for the low team score of the tournament with a 321. Broken Bow finished 11th in the 19 team field with a team score of 342 which is their best of the season.
The individual champion was Mason Shroder of Holdrege with a low round of 74. The scores were low as it took a 79 to place in the top 15. Broken Bow was led by Jack White who finished with a team low 82. Other scores for the Indians included Austin Fox – 85, Gavin Carrizales – 87, Zach Jackson – 88, and Dakota Baum – 102.
Broken Bow will be among the teams competing at the C-5 district championships on Monday at Lakeside Country Club at Johnson Lake.
