The NSAA girls golf state championships begin today. The Class C tournament is taking place at Lake Maloney Golf Club outside North Platte. Broken Bow will be looking for its fourth straight Class C girls golf team championship. It is an accomplishment that has never been achieved by a Class C school. The Whippets finished just two shots behind Broken Bow in the district tournament. The two teams have battled during the season and will be considered as two of the favorites at the state meet.

Benjamin will start her round on the front nine with an anticipated tee time of 9:40 a.m. Brynn Custer will start her round on the back nine today with the group scheduled to tee off at 9:50.
