Broken Bow and SEM Conclude Regular Seasons Today

The Broken Bow football team will host Gothenburg in their regular season finale tonight at Mark Russell Field. Much is on the line for both teams as each compete in the C1-6 district. The Indians are 6-2 overall and 3-0 in district play while Gothenburg enters at 5-3 overall and 2-1 in district play. With a win, Broken Bow would claim the outright district title and automatically qualify for the Class C1 state playoffs which begin next Friday (10/27). If Gothenburg wins, each team would finish with a 3-1 district record and the Swedes would win the district based on head to head competition. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
