Broken Bow and Area Teams Compete at Ogallala Cross Country Invite

Ogallala hosted their annual cross country invitational on Thursday.  Chase County was the girls team champion followed by Minden in second and Gothenburg was third.  Broken Bow finished 7th in the girls team standings.  Scout Bell of Gothenburg was the girls individual champion in a winning time of 20:06.37.  Among the area highlights, Broken Bow placed two runners in the top 25.  Ashlyn Schauda led the Lady Indians finishing 6th overall in a time of 21:06.16 and Genesis Guevara was 22nd (22:53.00).  Mullen placed two runners in the top 30.  Riley Hegland placed in the top 10 finishing 9th in a time of 21:36.3 and Ady Hampton was 29th (23:27.66).

GIRLS RESULTS

On the boys side, Alliance was the team champion followed by Gothenburg in second and Minden was third.  Broken Bow finished 12th in the boys standings.  Elijah Goodell of Perkins County was the individual champion in a winning time of 15:39.47.  Broken Bow’s Logan Bell placed in the top 30 finishing 28th in a time of 18:44.65.  Braylon Kuncl of Mullen finished 26th in a time of 18:38.04.
