Broken Bow American Legion Juniors and Seniors Both Fall To Loomis on the Road

The Broken Bow American Legion baseball teams traveled to Loomis on Tuesday for a juniors and seniors doubleheader.

In the seniors game, Loomis held off Broken Bow to claim a 4-2 win.  Loomis scored three runs in the first inning and one more in the second.  After giving up four runs in the first two innings, starting pitcher Caenyn Priest pitched two scoreless innings and Kayden Record pitched two innings of no-hit relief to give the Broken Bow offense a chance to mount a rally.  Broken Bow scored two runs in the sixth to get back in it but would not get any closer as Loomis held on for the win.  Loomis pitching held Broken Bow to just five total hits.  Caenyn Priest was 1 for 3 with a run scored and one run batted in.  Dominic Nowak, Drew Ellis, Kayden Record, and Xach Lowry also collected hits for the Bow seniors who fall to 12-9 on the season.
