Boys Subdistrict Basketball Pairings Released

The Nebraska School Activities Association has released the brackets and pairings for boys sub district basketball which begins next week.

Ansley/Litchfield is the top seed at the D1-11 sub district and will host the tournament at Ansley.  Twin Loup will face Burwell in the opening game of the sub district on Monday (2/19) with the winner advancing to face Ansley/Litchfield the following night.  South Loup is the #2 seed and will face #3 seed Sandhills Valley on Tuesday (2/20).  Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will provide live coverage of the tournament.  Monday’s game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.  Tuesday’s games and the sub district final on Thursday (2/22) will be broadcast on KBBN and a live video stream of those games will be available through sandhillsexpress.com.

Broken Bow will play at the C1-11 sub district tournament at Ogallala.  Broken Bow will face Chase County on Monday (2/19) with the winner advancing to play the top seed Ogallala the next night.  Cozad is the #2 seed in the tournament and will face #3 seed Gothenburg on Tuesday (2/20).  All Broken Bow games from the tournament will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.

Arcadia/Loup City will travel to the C2-10 sub district tournament in Grand Island.  The Rebels will face top seed GICC on Tuesday (2/20) with the winner advancing to the sub district final to face the winner of Ravenna vs Hastings St. Cecilia.

SEM will be at the D2-7 sub district tournament at Shelton.  SEM is the #3 seed and will face #2 seed Elm Creek on Tuesday (2/20) with the winner advancing to face the winner of Shelton vs. Silver Lake.

Sandhills/Thedford is the top seed at the D2-9 sub district tournament.  The Knights will host the tournament at Thedford and will play Brady on Tuesday (2/20).  The winner moves out to the sub district final where they will face the winner of Anselmo-Merna vs Mullen.
