Boys sub district basketball continues tonight across the area and state. Ansley/Litchfield will host South Loup for the D1-11 sub district title in Ansley. A/L is 18-3 on the season and advanced to tonight’s final with a win over Twin Loup back on Tuesday. South Loup is 16-4 and advanced with a win over Sandhills Valley in the sub district tournament. The two teams were scheduled to meet earlier this season but the game was ultimately cancelled because of bad weather. The winner of tonight’s game will automatically advance to the district finals. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. A live video stream of tonight’s game, accompanied by the radio call, will also be available on the Sandhills Express Facebook page and Sandhills Express You Tube channel. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Sandhills/Thedford will face Anselmo-Merna for the D2-9 sub district championship in Thedford. S/T, the top seed, got past Brady 55-50 on Tuesday. AM knocked off Mullen 47-37 to advance. Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m.
SEM will face Shelton for the D2-7 sub district title tonight in Shelton. SEM knocked off the #2 seed Elm Creek 50-41 on Tuesday night. Shelton, the top seed, got by Silver Lake 63-50. Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m.
Ogallala will host Cozad for the C1-11 sub district championship tonight. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. central time.
