Bow Spirit Extend Win Streak to Four with a Doubleheader Win Against KYSA Orange

The Broken Bow Spirit 16/18U girls softball team swept a doubleheader from the KYSA Orange on Thursday. The Spirit pitched two shutouts and scored a combined 31 runs.

The Spirit took game one 12-0. Lily Thornton finished 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 RBI and a run scored. Adyson Priest was 2 for 2 with a double and a triple. Priest finished with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored and Trinity Erickson also had a multi hit game finishing 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.

In game two, the Spirit collected another shutout winning 19-0. Bow’s 19 runs came on 14 hits. Laney Holcomb helped lead the offense finishing 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Lily Thornton also had a 3 for 3 night finishing with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. Also finishing with a multi hit game were Trinity Erickson, Laney Dahlberg, and Caeden Arnold.

The Spirit improve their overall mark to 10-9-2.
