The Broken Bow American Legion seniors baseball team had their final tuneup before they begin play in the B6 Area Tournament on Friday. The Bow seniors traveled to St. Paul for their regular season finale on Tuesday.
Broken Bow fell behind 3-0 after three innings but tied the game up with a 3 run 4th inning. The scored stayed tied until the sixth when Broken Bow scored five runs to take their first lead of the game. The Bow seniors added two more in the seventh to claim a 10-3 win. Gavin Goodner helped lead the offense with a 2 for 3 night scoring two runs and driving in two. Eli Coble was 2 for 4 in the lead off spot with one run scored and 2 RBI. Max Denson had 3 runs batted in and Hagen Campbell drove in two.
The Bow seniors now prepare for the B6 area tournament which begins Friday in McCook. Bow will play the top seed Minden Friday morning at 11 a.m. in round one. All Broken Bow games during the double elimination tournament will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com
