Basketball / Gothenburg vs Broken Bow on KCNI – A/L vs South Loup on KBBN and Video Stream

UPDATE (1:30 PM Thursday): The games between Ansley/Litchfield and South Loup from Ansley have been postponed, according to Ansley/Litchfield administration. A date has not yet been set.

Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will present coverage of two big basketball doubleheaders tonight. Broken Bow will go on the road to face Gothenburg tonight in girls and boys basketball. The girls game will feature a Class C1 top ten matchup. Broken Bow is 10-2 on the season but have not played since January 6th when they faced Seward at the Nebraska Girls Basketball Showcase. The Lady Indians two losses are to highly ranked C1 Minden and to Class B Seward in the girls showcase. The two losses for Broken Bow were by a combined 8 points and the Seward game went to overtime. Gothenburg is 11-1 with their only loss coming on the road back in December to Adams Central. The Lady Swedes were able to get one of their games in last week with their last game being a win against Cozad on January 11th. Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. with the boys varsity game to follow. Both girls and boys varsity games will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.

Ansley/Litchfield will host South Loup for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader today in Ansley. The boys game will feature to teams who have been in the top ten of Class D1. A/L enters tonight’s boys game at 10-2 with their only losses to Plainview and Amherst. South Loup enters tonight’s games at 9-2. The Bobcats will look to bounce back after falling to Arcadia/Loup City on the road Tuesday night in overtime. Ansley/Litchfield will host South Loup in the girls varsity game at 6 with the boys game to follow. Both girls and boys games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. A live video stream of the games, accompanied by the radio call, will also be available on the Sandhills Express Facebook page and Sandhills Express You Tube Channel.
