Arcadia/Loup City was among the teams that competed at the Lou-Platte Conference girls and boys wrestling championships on Saturday. The Rebels had three individuals claim conference championships. Rylee Kursave was the girls champion at 170 lbs. Joseph Ducker was the boys champion at 190 lbs. and Wyatt Stieb of Arcadia/Loup City was the boys champion at 215 lbs.
The Ansley/Litchfield girls wrestling team competed at the Neligh Oakdale tournament on Friday and the Axtell Invite on Saturday. On Friday, Clysta Brott was runner-up at 130 lbs. Jaycee Vogel and Isabelle Plunkett placed third at 140 and 190 respectively. On Saturday, the Lady Spartans placed third as a team. Bayler Clay was champion at 105 lbs. and Clysta Brott was champion at 130. Other highlights included Jaycee Vogel runner-up at 140 and Isabelle Plunkett was third at 190.
SEM also competed at the Axtell girls invite on Saturday. SEM was the team runner-up. Olivia McDonald was champion at 120 lbs. and Ellie Scoville was champion at 155. The Lady Mustangs received runner-up finishes from Lily Hrasky at 125 lbs. and Sofia McDonald at 170.
Mullen claimed the team championship at the Neligh-Oakdale boys invite on Saturday. The Broncos had four individual champions. Bo Pettit Jr. was champion at 132 lbs. Jason Kraus was champion at 157 lbs. Cooper Walker champion at 165 and Tate Kvanvig was champion at 215 lbs.
