Area Track Results (4/1)

South Loup was among the teams that competed at the Hi-Line track invite on Tuesday.  Some of the highlights for South Loup included Ella Cool finishing runner up in the girls 3200 in a time of 12:43.39 and Josiah Coleman was runner up in the boys 3200 in a time of 11:18.14.  Cool was runner up in the girls 800 as well with a time of 2:36.00 and Coleman was fifth in the boys 1600.  Elijah Cool was third in the boys 800 in a time of 2:11.89.  AJ Starr was third in the boys high jump clearing 5′ 10″.   Other top six finishes for South Loup athletes included Erin Fitzgerald fifth in the girls 400 and sixth in the long jump.  Dylan Pandorf fifth in the boys 400.  Clinton Quandt fourth in the boys 300 meter hurdles.  Caleb McFate fifth in the boys 110 meter hurdles and fifth in the 300 meter hurdles.  Conner Paulsen sixth in the boys 100 and Olivia Fitzgerald sixth in the girls 100.  Fitzgerald was also fifth in the 200.  In the relays, South Loup was runner up in the boys 4×100 4×400 and was fifth in the girls 4×100.

Twin Loup was among the teams that competed at the Mansfield track invite in Albion on Tuesday.  Some of the highlights for Twin Loup included Oran Grint winning the boys 400 in a time of 53.94 seconds.  Justin Folkers was champion in the boys high jump with a winning effort of 6′ and Yahya Harris was fifth in the event.  Others who finished in the top six of their event included Jackson Hall sixth in the boys 110 meter hurdles and fifth in the long jump.  Ella Switzer was sixth in the girls 100 meter hurdles and Madison Glidden was fifth in the girls 300 meter hurdles.  Ragan Mauler was sixth in the girls long jump.  In the relays, Twin Loup was fifth in the boys 4×100, fifth in the 4×800 and sixth in the 4×400.  Twin Loup was sixth in the girls 4×400.
