Ansley/Litchfield and Anselmo-Merna were among the teams that competed at the Adams Central Track Invite in Hastings on Tuesday. Anselmo-Merna finished in the top five of the boys team standings. The Coyotes finished in a tie for fourth. Among the area highlights, Trevor Duryea of Anselmo-Merna won the boys triple jump with a winning effort of 45 feet even and placed third in the boys long jump. AM was runner up in the boys 4×100 meter relay. Colin Wright was runner up in the boys high jump. Other top three finishes for AM included Tim Myers third in the boys 110 meter hurdles. Jenna Bartak placed third in the girls pole vault and Lily Thornton was third in the girls discus. Caenyn Priest placed third in the boys 300 meter hurdles

SEM and Sandhills/Thedford were among the teams that competed at the Kearney Catholic Track Invite Tuesday. Among the area highlights, Lindsey McIntosh of Sandhills/Thedford won the girls shot put with a winning effort of 33’10.75″ and Kyler Jones of SEM was runner-up in the event with an effort of 32’1″. McIntosh was third in the girls discus. Sandhills/Thedford placed first in the boys 4×800 meter relay. The team of Mason Sutton, James Reiser, Heath Larsen, and Conor Sutton posted a winning time of 9:41.12. Paizley Zutavern of Sandhills/Thedford won the girls 800 in a winning time of 2:32.83 and was runner up in the 1600. Shylee Gonzales was runner up in the girls 400. Other top three finishes for S/T included Carter Anderson runner up in the 200 as well as third in both the boys long jump and 100 meter dash. Connor Sutton was runner up in both the boys 800 and 1600 meter run. Mattee Zutavern placed third in the girls long jump. S/T placed third in the girls and boys 4×100 meter relay.

Twin Loup was among the teams that competed at the Mansfield track invite hosted by Boone Central in Albion on Tuesday. Among the highlights for the Wolves, Blake Bottorf was the champion of the boys shot put with a winning effort of 44 feet even. Other top three finishes for Twin Loup included Emmett Grint runner up in the boys 300 meter hurdles. Oran Grint was runner up in the boys long jump and finished third in both the boys 200 and 400. Jackson Hall placed third in the boys pole vault.
